The longer the winter, the more plants you need. Right, Alaska? And if you're like us, you're always looking for new ways to display your green friends.
The other thing Alaskans (and our plants) need is light. Apparently, Anchorage residents are obsessed with updating their lighting, because the ReStore is forever full of fixtures. We simply can't sell them all, and we could never throw them away! That's where Shannon comes in with her creative upcycling know-how!
Join us and learn to create your own upcycled planter by repurposing a lonely light fixture. These make great gifts, and you can pick up the materials on the cheap at the ReStore!
