Make It Classroom: Upcycled Sweater Leg Warmers, 1/2/23

Get a leg up on winter!

Any Alaskan will tell you that the key to staying warm is layers. But coats and boots don’t cover everything. Create versatile accessories to keep your legs toasty with just an old sweater, scissors, and needle and thread. They make great gifts, too!

No experience necessary. If you have a sweater you want to use or some to donate, please feel free to bring those, but you can also use one of ours. We recommend sweaters with roomy arms and stretchy cuffs!

Class limited to 8 participants.

Fees Adults: $20. Teens: Enter code Teen15 for 50% off! All proceeds fund Habitat for Humanity's affordable homeownership programs.

Safety precautions: Masks are encouraged for all class participants. We also want to limit the use of latex in our classroom. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe!
