Make It Classroom: Beginner Sewing: Upcycled Mittens, 10/24/22

Lost your mitten? Make a new one.

This beginning sewing class is for all Alaskans, who can never have too many mittens. Make a pair for yourself or a friend using samples, leftover pieces, and other salvaged fabric! Bring cloth if you like, or use ours; we’ve got machines, too! Just bring yourself and your creativity.

Teens are welcome to this class at 50% off!

Time: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

No experience necessary; all materials provided.

Class limited to 5 participants.

Fees Youth ages 13-17: $15. Adults: $30. All proceeds fund Habitat for Humanity's affordable homeownership programs.

If cost is an issue, consider volunteering for this class!

Safety precautions: Masks are encouraged but not required. We also want minimize the use of latex items in the room. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe!
